Rudolph Sibblies

Waterbury – Mr. Rudolph Sibblies, age 98, of Waterbury passed away peacefully on Thursday September 26, 2024 at Waterbury Hospital.

Mr. Sibblies was born July 2, 1926 in Manchester, Jamaica son of the late Arthur and Jane (Freckleton) Sibblies. He was retired after working for many years with Union Local 146. He enjoyed playing dominoes and watching wrestling .

Mr. Sibblies is survived by his children: Stenneth Lewis and her husband Milford of Waterbury, Brenda Gray and her husband Alvin of Jamaica Marcia Robinson and her husband Basil of Jamaica Rudolph Sibblies of Jamaica Rose Hughes of Jamaica and Jacqueline Johnson and her husband Robert of Bronx, NY, his step daughter: Angela Lewis and her husband Jerry of Newburgh, NY his sister: Sina Mitchell of Jamaica, 10 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and his nieces and nephews.

Mr. Sibblies’ family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday October 19, 2024 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Waterbury Church of God 854 Bank St. Waterbury. Funeral services will be held immediately following at 11 a.m. Burial will be in New Pine Grove Cemetery in Waterbury
