Michael Laudate

Naugatuck – Michael Roy Laudate, age 40, of Naugatuck passed away unexpectedly on Friday May 23, 2025.

Michael was born March 8,1985 in Waterbury son of Roy A. Laudate of Naugatuck and the late Ramona (Juraska) Dobson. He worked as a truck driver. He was an avid fisherman, who also enjoyed hunting, camping, hiking and ice fishing.

In addition to his Father, Michael is survived by his life partner: Gloria Gallant of Naugatuck, his siblings: Cody Dufour of Prospect, Katie Cuccuru of Waterbury, Steven Ash of Winsted, Mark Fonseca-Ash of Naugatuck, Jacqueline Fonseca-Ash of Naugatuck and Kyle Ash of Winsted, his Paternal Grandparents: Dominic and Karen Laudate of Naugatuck, his Maternal Grandmother: Mary Lou Sullivan of West Palm Beach, Florida, his stepfather: Jon Dobson of Southbury, his aunts and uncles: Dominic and Penny Laudate of Prospect, Marie Laudate of Naugatuck and Virginia Laudate of Waterbury, Anthony and Julia Sampieri, Jr. of S.C., his great aunt: Maryann Laudate of Naugatuck, his cousins: Andrew Laudate of Boston, Dominic and Hunter Laudate of Prospect and Scott Millett, Jr. of Waterbury and his two nieces: Kaylee and Karina.

Michael’s family will receive relatives and friends at Community Funeral Home 72 Waterbury Road (Next to the Post Office) in Prospect on Saturday May 31, 2025 from 2 to 5 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held immediately following the visitation at 5 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
