Lucy Correa

Waterbury – Lucy D. Correa, age 71, of Waterbury passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday December 25, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.

Lucy was born February 15, 1953 in Puerto Rico daughter of the late Carmelo and Angelina (Feliciano) Correa. She retired after working for many years at AT&T as a dispatcher and at Interim Company as a supervisor. She was a member of Walnut Hill Church and enjoyed floral arranging and doing pottery.

Lucy is survived by her sisters: Carmelina Quinones of Waterbury and Liz Cruz and her husband Alex of Wolcott, her brother: Angel Correa and his wife Ivone of Puerto Rico and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sisters: Carmen Rodriguez and Doris M. Correa.

Lucy’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Community Funeral Home 72 Waterbury Road (Next to the Post Office) in Prospect on Saturday December 28, 2024 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. A funeral service will be held immediately following at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery in Waterbury.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
