Kathryn Arnold

Prospect – Kathryn C. “Kathy” (Frederick) Arnold, age 74, of Prospect passed away peacefully in the VITAS unit at St. Mary’s Hospital on Sunday June 28, 2026. She was the loving wife of the late Raymond John “Joe” Arnold.

Kathy was born March 23, 1952 in Waterbury daughter of the late Henry and Judith (Bennett) Frederick. She held a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and was retired as a Manager from Ulbrich Corporation in Wallingford. She loved riding her Harley, animals, gardening and spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends and would drop anything to help anyone.

Kathy is survived by her sister: Nora Frederick of Prospect, her nephew: Daniel McFarlin and his wife Catherine of Naugatuck, her great niece and nephews: Danielle McFarlin, Aidan, Brendan and Dane McFarlin and several loving cousins, extended family and dear friends.

A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday July 7, 2026 at 11 a.m. at Prospect Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Community Funeral Home, The Corona Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 72 Waterbury Road (Next to the Post Office) in Prospect is honored to be assisting Kathy’s family.
