James A. Doyle III
James A. Doyle III, age 52, of Prospect, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 6, 2026, at UConn Health Waterbury Hospital.
Born on June 25, 1974, in Waterbury, Jimmy was the beloved son of Sandra M. (Summa) Doyle of Prospect and the late James A. Doyle Jr.
In addition to his mother, Sandra Doyle, Jimmy is survived by his beloved sons, James A. Doyle IV of Prospect and Cody John Ryan Doyle and fiancée, Vanessa Adams of Meriden; his loving sister, Florence E. “Flo” Lange of Windsor; his cherished girlfriend, Julie C. Tulloch of Prospect, who brought him great love and happiness; his niece, Brenda M. Taylor; his nephew, Johnathan M. Doyle; and several great-nieces and great-nephews, all of whom will miss him dearly.
Jimmy spent many years working for Prospect Sanitation Service and Doyle & Sons Construction, where his strong work ethic, dependable nature, and willingness to lend a helping hand reflected the kind of man he was. He took pride in his work and earned the respect of those who worked alongside him. He had a lifelong passion for NASCAR, admired classic muscle cars—especially Chevelles—and always dreamed of owning one. He also cherished riding his Harley-Davidson, finding freedom and peace on the open road.
Known affectionately to family and friends as "Jimmy" and "Jimbo", he loved the simple moments in life spent with the people he held dear. He treasured time with his girlfriend, Julie, sharing their love of movies, TV shows, and music. He enjoyed golfing with his sons, celebrating at Grampy’s Lake, and making memories that will be cherished forever. When he was younger, Jimmy also enjoyed camping and fishing trips with his family and his nephew, Johnathan, creating traditions filled with laughter and unforgettable moments. Whether trying his luck at the casino— always liked to play - “Let it ride,” “Crap” or “Roulette” just as his father did —or simply enjoying the company of family and friends, Jimmy embraced life with enthusiasm and a generous spirit.
Jimmy will be remembered for his kind heart, gentle nature, and willingness to help others. He was the type of person who would give you the shirt off his back without hesitation. His easy going personality, warm smile, and genuine compassion made everyone feel welcome. He had a remarkable ability to light up every room he entered, and those who knew him were drawn to his kindness, sense of humor, and sincere friendship. He leaves behind countless memories that will forever be treasured.
He was predeceased by his father, James A. Doyle Jr., and his sister, Theresa Faison.
Honoring Jimmy’s wishes, a Celebration of Life will be held at the Prospect Fire Department on Saturday August 1, 2026 from 2 to 4 p.m.. Community Funeral Home, The Corona Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, is honored to assist Jimmy’s family during this difficult time.
Though his time with us was far too short, Jimmy’s kindness, laughter, generous heart, and love for his family will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will forever be a blessing, and he will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
