David Dionne

Plainville – David Joseph Kenneth Dionne, age 66, of Plainville passed away Tuesday October 22, 2024. He was the husband of Darlene (Bond) Dionne.

David was born July 29, 1958, in New Brunswick, Canada son of Bernice M. Nadeau St. Jean of Plainville and the late Rudolph Dionne. He was employed at CWPM in Berlin, where he was loved and respected by his coworkers. He was a kindhearted and giving man who donated one of his kidneys to his brother-in-law Bryen Bond. He was energetic and enjoyed bowling, and working on cars and was a “Jack of All Trades”

In addition to his wife Darlene and his Mother Bernice, David is survived by his children: Diana Dionne of VA, David Dionne, Jr. of Naugatuck, James Dionne of Naugatuck, Jaime Lipsey of Bristol, Nicole Sarandrea of Waterbury and Larry Sarandrea of Waterbury, his siblings: Diane Barbosa and her husband Armando of Thomaston, Susan Dionne of Plainville, Ronald Dionne and his wife Lisa of Plainville, Mark Dionne and his wife Debbie of KY, Michael Dionne of ME, Richard Dionne and his wife Carrie of Bristol, Donald Dionne of Waterbury and Rudy Dionne and his wife Kim of IN, his brothers-in-law: Roy Bond, and Bryen Bond, his sister-in-law: Joyce Bond 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son: John Ganavage, his brother Scott Dionne and his sisters-in-law: Cindy Dionne, Raeanne Henry, Joyce Bond Tammy Miclette and Lisa Lasky

David’s family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday November 2, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Prospect Community Funeral Home 72 Waterbury Road, Route 69 (Next to the Post Office) in Prospect. A Celebration of David’s Life will be held at the funeral home immediately following at 12:30 p.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
