Autumn Brooks

Naugatuck - Infant Autumn Violet Brooks, age 1 year, of Naugatuck passed away peacefully on October 28, 2025 at 10:15 a.m. Yale New Haven Hospital.

Autumn was born in New Haven on April 10, 2024 the beloved daughter of Sheyana Brooks of Naugatuck. During her time at Yale New Haven Hospital Children's Hospital, Autumn touched the hearts of everyone who cared for her. She was deeply loved by the nurses and staff in the PICU and NICU units, as well as by the staff at the Ronald McDonald House. Autumn brought light and joy wherever she was and loved watching Frozen and Bluey.

In addition to her loving Mother Sheyana, Autumn is survived by her maternal grandparents: Paul and Yvette Brooks of Naugatuck, her uncle Hunter Brooks, her aunt Havana Sky Brooks, and many dear friends and extended family who will forever cherish her memory.

Autumn’s family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday December 7, 2025 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Community Funeral Home, The Corona Family Funeral and Cremation Services 72 Waterbury Road, next to the Post Office in Prospect. To honor Autumn's memory it is requested that formal attire please be worn. A Celebration of Autumn’s Life will be held immediately following the visitation at 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

Though her time with us was brief, Autumn's gentle spirit, bright smile, and boundless love will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew her.
