Aristide Rey

East Hartford – Aristide M. Rey, age 80, of East Hartford passed away
on Wednesday January 28, 2026 at Manchester Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Rey was born July 20, 1945 in Puerto Rico son of the late Raphael
and Liberia Rey. He was retired after working in furniture sales for
many years and was the former owner of Broadway Mattress in
Hartford and Inside Furniture of Vernon. He enjoyed spending time
with his family, he loved going to church and helping others.

Mr. Rey is survived by his daughter: Daisy Bolton and her husband
Doug of Vernon, his grandchildren: Robert Bolton and Krystle Martin
and her husband Thomas, his great grandchildren: Aria Martin, Aries
Bolton and Kiki Bolton and many nieces and nephews. He was
predeceased by several brothers and sisters.

A Celebration of Mr. Rey’s Life and inurnment of his ashes in
Evergreen Cemetery in New Haven will be held on a date and time to
be announced in the Spring. Community Funeral Home, The Corona
Family Funeral and Cremation Services, 72 Waterbury Road Prospect
is honored to be assisting Mr. Rey’s family
